Our teachers are qualified language practitioners and/or ECD (Early Childhood Development) certified. They are of that culture and must have studied the particular language up to matric level. Most of them have studied the language further at tertiary level.
The children in our school are of any race, culture and religion. We take children from the 4 years old- matric level.
We teach all children as if they know nothing about the language, certifying that do miss any area based on assumptions. We currently offer but not limited to:
- Setswana
- Sepedi
- Isizulu
- Tshivenda
- Xitsonga
- Sesotho
- Isixhosa
- Afrikaans
Welcome To SP Language Academy
SP language Academy is a school which teaches children their home languages.
The school started in January 2019.
We teach children their home languages.
- We also have a tutoring service where children come with their books and we assist them with the language that they are learning at school in order to improve their results.
- We don’t only focus on the language but also touch on the cultural aspects of the language such as the indigenous games, songs and attributes.
- We also have contracts with schools where we teach the children languages as an extra-mural activity.
